Nintendo Reveals New Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Character Art

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order received a lot of attention during E3. That should be good news for both comic book fans and Nintendo Switch owners next month. Coming off of the big show, some new promo artwork is now available, featuring the game’s huge roster with over 30 playable superheroes.

Released through Nintendo (and posted through Nintendo Life), the line-up is jam-packed thus far. The main Avengers lineup is in full force, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye. For good measure, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch and Falcon are also in the roster. The Guardians of the Galaxy are also on deck, including Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, and as a tag-team, Groot and Rocket Raccoon.

Storm, Wolverine, Psylocke, Magneto, and Nightcrawler are representing the X-Men. That’s far from a full team of mutants, but at least one of the upcoming DLC packs will be X-Men related. As for Spider-Man, he’ll be joined by Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, and Venom. Finally, oddball favorites like Deadpool, Ghost Rider, Elsa Bloodstone, Crystal, Elektra, and Ms. Marvel are all included.

This is far from the complete roster. There will also be additional characters including non-playable heroes like Cyclops. It’s also been confirmed that several downloadable characters will be available via an expansion pass. These will include various favorites from Marvel Knights, Fantastic Four, and X-Men.
