Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 will reportedly include a major MCU retcon.
Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again premiered on Disney+ last March. A continuation of the Netflix Daredevil show, Born Again sees Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their respective roles as Daredevil/Matt Murdock and Kingpin/Wilson Fisk.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is now scheduled to premiere on Disney+ this coming spring, while Marvel has also already renewed the show for a third season.
What retcon will Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 reportedly include?
While plot details remain heavily under wraps at this time, scooper Daniel Richtman is claiming that The Hand will be back in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.
The Hand is a villainous organization largely comprised of ninjas that was heavily featured in the Netflix Daredevil series. The organization ended, and its leaders were killed at the end of the Defenders crossover, meaning that bringing the Hand back would serve as a retcon.
This is merely a rumor at this time. Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 has not yet started filming, and any official details aren’t being revealed at this time.
The synopsis for Daredevil: Born Again’s second Season, meanwhile, reads, “In Season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he hunts down public enemy number one, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil. But beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will try to fight back from the shadows to tear down the Kingpin’s corrupt empire and redeem his home. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.”
Created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord, and Matt Corman, the cast of the show further includes Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanesa Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, and Matthew Lillard as Mr. Charles.
Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premieres on March 24, 2026.
