Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 Trailer Introduces Live-Action Toph

The first teaser trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 has been released.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is Netflix’s live-action remake of the animated television series that was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko for Nickelodeon. Coming from showrunner Albert Kim, it stars Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko, and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Uncle Iroh.

What happens in the Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 trailer?

The Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 trailer introduces the live-action Toph, played by Miya Cech. Toph is an earthbender who was born blind and thus uses seismic vibrations to sense around her.

Other new cast members joining Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 include Terry Chen as Jeong Jeong, Dolly de Leon as Lo and Li, Lily Gan as Ursa, Madison Hu as Wei, Dichen Lachman as Yangchen, Chin Han as Long Fen, Hot Xuande as Professor Zei, Justin Chien as King Kuei, Amanda Zhou as Joo Dee, Crystal Yu as Lady Beefing, Kelemete Misipeka as The Boulder, Lourdes Faberes as General Sung, and Rekha Sharma as Amita.

Executive producers Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani previously told Netflix Tudum about Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2’s plot, “There’s no war in Ba Sing Se. For the Gaang, fans can expect more brilliant plans from Sokka, even more masterful bending from Katara, Appa, and Momo to be as fluffy as ever, and Aang to learn a new bending form (or two)…We are going to show the real-world versions of iconic scenes from the original, and explore some of the stories that the animation didn’t.”

Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 will premiere on Netflix in 2026. The show has been renewed for a third season, which will serve as the conclusion to the series.
