DC Crime: Which Superman Actors Will Join Skyler Gisondo in TV Show Revealed

Some exciting new details about the upcoming Superman spin-off TV show, DC Crime, have been revealed.

It was announced earlier this week that Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios were moving forward with a Superman spin-off TV show that will focus on Skyler Gisondo’s Jimmy Olsen character. American Vandal’s Dan Perrault and Tony Yacenda will serve as writers, showrunners, and executive producers on the series.

“The concept centers on Olsen, as well as other Daily Planet reporters (minus Lois Lane and Clark Kent), who tackle cases involving super-powered villains,” The Hollywood Reporter’s article states. “Gorilla Grodd would be in the spotlight for the season.”

Who has joined the cast of the DC Crime show?

Per Nexus Point News, we now have a better idea regarding who the DC Crime supporting cast will be. In addition to Gisondo, the show will see Wendell Pierce, Beck Bennett, Mikaela Hoover, and Christopher McDonald reprise their respective roles as Perry White, Steve Lombard, Cat Grant, and Ron Troupe.

The article also reiterates that David Corenswet’s Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane are not expected to appear in DC Crime at this time.

Additionally, Nexus Point News reports that DC Crime is scheduled to begin shooting this coming spring in Atlanta. That means it will be filming right around the same time as Man of Tomorrow, the DCU feature film follow-up to Superman, so there’s always a possibility for some surprise cameos in one or both projects. Man of Tomorrow will be released in United States theaters on July 9, 2027.

DC Crime doesn’t have a premiere date as of yet, so it’s unclear if that will arrive before or after Man of Tomorrow. James Gunn and Peter Safran are serving as executive producers on the project alongside Perrault and Yacenda, while Gialyin Vaisman will oversee for DC.
