October may be the month of Halloween, but Netflix seems to have saved the best of scares for November. The revolving-door roster of the streaming platform is all set to welcome a horde of titles in the coming month, including some of the most celebrated movies of the horror genre.
Netflix subscribers to enjoy several horror movies in November
In a recent update, all the movies and TV shows that are coming to the streaming service in November 2025 where announced.
While the list shared by What’s on Netflix features a plethora of fan-favorite movies, such as Crazy Rich Asians, Dr. Dolittle, King Richard, and Wonka, among others, it also confirmed the advent of multiple horror classics on Netflix.
The very first day of the penultimate month of 2025 would witness the arrival of as many as four horror films, including the original I Know What You Did Last Summer, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, and the Frank Grillo-led The Purge: Anarchy.
Meanwhile, the long-awaited sequel to Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, titled Doctor Sleep, which sees Ewan McGregor don the mantle of an older Danny, and The Nun 2 of the ever-successful Conjuring universe will also arrive on Netflix on November 1.
Additionally, Joey King and Ryan Phillippe’s Wish Upon will hit the shelves of the celebrated streaming service four days later, on November 5. Netflix will then wrap up the November addition to its horror movie collection on November 7 with the much-awaited premiere of Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.
A platform original, the horror reimagining of Mary Shelley’s classic 1818 novel features Jacob Elordi as the titular monster, with Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth playing Baron Victor Frankenstein and Lady Elizabeth Harlander, respectively.
Additionally, the fifth and final season of the fan-favorite Stranger Things is also making its premiere on Netflix on November 26. While the Netflix original is more of a dark fantasy series rather than an out-and-out horror feature, the addition of Stranger Things Season 5 should elevate the supernatural corner of the streaming service.
