Netflix has announced an exclusive early preview for fans. Viewers will get to watch the first five minutes of Stranger Things Season 5 before its official release.

According to Tudum by Netflix, the preview will debut during a global virtual watch party on November 7 at 1 AM GMT. The live-streamed event will feature “cast interviews, surprise appearances, a sneak peek at the new season, and more,” streamed live from the red carpet.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will release in three parts. Four episodes will arrive on November 26, followed by three on Christmas Day, and the finale on New Year’s Eve. Netflix confirmed that the first four episodes will run between 54 minutes and 1 hour 23 minutes. Fans joining the virtual premiere must RSVP and share their favorite Stranger Things memory during registration.

Set in the 1980s, Stranger Things became a global hit after its 2016 debut. The story follows a group of friends in Hawkins who uncover government experiments and supernatural threats from the Upside Down. In Season 4, Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) left Max (Sadie Sink) in critical condition and survived his battle with Eleven. The final season brings Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) face-to-face with Vecna for their ultimate confrontation.

The Duffer Brothers explained that production delays caused the three-year gap since Season 4 but assured fans it will be “worth the wait.” The upcoming episodes are titled The Crawl, The Vanishing of…, The Turnbow Trap, Sorcerer, Shock Jock, Escape from Camazotz, The Bridge, and The Rightside Up.

The global Tudum event will stream at 12:00 PM AEDT.
