Izuku Midoriya gears up for the end of an era in an action-packed teaser trailer that revealed the release date window for My Hero Academia Season 8.
Toho Animation has unveiled the teaser trailer for the highly anticipated final season of My Hero Academia — and it promises to be a big one. Picking up the tension built in the previous season, the teaser trailer dives into the final battle between Deku (Daiki Yamashita) and Shigaraki (Koki Uchiyama) as well as Armored All Might (Kenta Miyake) and All For One (Akio Otsuka, Hiroshi Kamiya).
When is the My Hero Academia Season 8 release date window?
The eighth and final season of the popular shonen anime series is set to debut in October 2025. Season 7, which concluded in 2024, covered the beginning of the Final War arc, with Season 8 expected to explore the remaining chapters. The upcoming season is also set to cover the Epilogue arc, which is the final story in the My Hero Academia manga series.

My Hero Academia is based on the original story by Kohei Horikoshi. It centers on Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers who was granted a power of his own. He enrolls in the prestigious hero academy, where he hones his abilities and learns what it truly means to be a hero.
“The story is set in a world where nearly 80 percent of the population possesses supernatural abilities known as ‘Quirks.’ It follows the growth, struggles, and friendships of high school student Izuku Midoriya and his classmates, all of whom have enrolled at U.A. High to become heroes and defend society from Villains who attempt to exploit accidents, natural disasters, and ‘Quirks’ for their own gain,” the synopsis reads, courtesy of Toho animation.
Izuku Midoriya’s journey comes to an epic conclusion once My Hero Academia Season 8 arrives this October. The exact release date has yet to be announced.
