Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and other Marvel Shows Are Leaving Netflix

In 2018, Netflix began cancelling all of its Marvel TV series. However, all five of the Marvel shows remained on Netflix. Regardless, Netflix itself has confirmed that Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, The Punisher, and The Defenders are leaving on March 1. Fans in the U.S. can see for themselves by playing any episode from the listed shows. In the upper left corner, an onscreen message briefly says that the series are only available until the beginning of March.

Where will the shows go next? Hulu or Disney+ seem like the most likely options, but it’s unclear if Netflix’s deal with Marvel TV would prevent these shows from streaming on another service. At the very least, the remaining seasons should be released on Blu-ray. But for now, we don’t know what’s next for these shows.

Ironically, Charlie Cox’s cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home propelled Daredevil back into the top ten of Netflix’s series. There’s still a strong demand for these characters, and most of them will probably show up again in the MCU.
