Warning: There are spoilers ahead for last nightâs episode of Batwoman, âKane, Kate!â
Kate Kane isnât the Batwoman she used to be, in more ways than one! Ruby Rose left the show ahead of season 2, and Wallis Day took over the role of Kate around midseason. However, Kate has been brainwashed by Black Mask into believing that sheâs his late daughter, Circe Sionis. In last nightâs episode, Kate returned to the Batcave and pretended that she was back to normal. Instead, she was conning everyone and fought the new Batwoman, Ryan Wilder (Javicia Leslie). Kate also escaped with her old Batsuit and an assortment of items from Batmanâs trophy case.
In the closing moments, Kate/Circe defaced her old Batwoman costume with a piece of Kryptonite. Now, Day has shared a few behind-the-scenes pics of Kate in her damaged Bat-suit from the season finale. Day also appears in the pics alongside her on-screen sister, Alice (Rachel Skarsten).

Additionally, Day shed some light on Circeâs mindset while speaking with The Wrap.
âI donât think Circe trusts anyone at this point,â said Day. âI mean, obviously you saw in the last episode, she confronted her father, and she didnât know who she was, and I think that thatâs triggered her, in a sense. And sheâs also gone on this rampage to try and get back at everyone who has ever harmed her, you know? So I think that sheâs so focused on that, and sheâs been hurt so much in her past that she has no reason to [trust them] and she doesnât much care for them.â
The season 2 finale Batwoman will air on The CW on Sunday, June 27.
