Latest Loki Featurette Highlights Owen Wilson’s Debut in the MCU

Marvel Studios has debuted a shiny new featurette for Loki a mere two days before the official release of the show. The video serves as an introduction to Owen Wilson’s Agent Mobius M. Mobius, a key member of the TVA, besides introducing the actor himself to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Wilson reveals that Tom Hiddleston played a pivotal role in helping him catching up with the God of Mischief’s deed in the MCU so far, being a good teacher for the ‘Loki lessons.’ In the footage, Agent Mobius stresses once again that time runs differently at the TVA.

This won’t be the first time Wilson and Hiddleston worked together. They previously acted in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris, where Wilson had the role of a dreamy writer lost in Paris while Hiddleston portrayed none other than F. Scott Fitzgerald in the 1920s.

The official synopsis for Loki from Disney+ and Marvel Studios:

“Picking up immediately after Loki steals the Tesseract (again), he finds himself called before the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, forced to answer for his crimes against the timeline and given a choice: face deletion from reality or assist in catching an even greater threat.”

Loki will debut its first episode on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 9. New episodes will follow every Wednesday.
