John Barrowman and David Bradley Join Doctor Who: Time Fracture
Good news for Doctor Who fans. Long-time fan-favorite character Captain Jack Harkness will return in Doctor Who: Time Fracture, as John Barrowman has just joined the cast of the upcoming London-based, immersive theatrical adventure (via Bleeding Cool). Harkness’ previous appearance came in Revolution of the Daleks, the 2021 New Year Special. In the story, the Time Agent helped the Thirteenth Doctor and his companions to defeat a new Dalek invasion on Planet Earth.
Besides Barrowman, veteran actor David Bradley will resume his role as William Hartnell’s First Doctor. Bradley’s credits include a plethora of roles, but more recently, he has been known for his roles as Argus Filch in the Harry Potter film series and Walder Frey in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
“This is going to be something really special,” said Bradley in a recent video. “Anyone who sees the show who is not a Doctor Who fan when they go in, surely will be when they come out! It’s going to be an amazing experience.”

The official description for Doctor Who: Time Fracture reads:
“1940 – at the height of the Blitz. A weapon of unknown origin destroys a small corner of Mayfair, and simultaneously opens a rift in space and time. For decades, UNIT have fought undetected to protect the people of Earth from the dangers it poses. Weakened and beaten back as the fracture’s multiplied out of control, they’re close to defeat.”
Doctor Who: Time Fracture will debut Summer 2021 in London, with tickets available online. In the meantime, you can hear Barrowman’s enthusiasm for his return in a recent interview here below.
