Lucasfilm is a few weeks away from debuting its next animated series in the Star Wars Universe. On Star Wars Day, May 4, the upcoming The Bad Batch series will officially premiere. The producers have now officially dropped the first trailer for the Clone Wars spinoff, featuring the return of Hunter, Echo, Tech, Wrecker, and Crosshair. Together, they form the Clone Force 99, a band of experimental clones who possess peculiar skills that make them lethal in combat. Fans will also see some familiar faces, including Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand from The Mandalorian and the young version of Saw Gerrera (Andrew Kishino) from The Clone Wars. In the story, the Machiavellian Admiral Tarkin commands the wipeout of the squad of elite clones. Now that The Clone Wars have ended, it’s time for Hunter and the others to find their place in the galaxy.
