Last month, Amazon finally premiered the first trailer for the Invincible animated series, based on Robert Kirkman’s comic book. The trailer gave fans their first look at several of the show’s supporting characters. However, one fan favorite villain was noticeably absent. But that changed today when Amazon dropped a new teaser for the series in honor of another “Invincible Friday.” The latest footage debuts the show’s version of Battle Beast, who will be voiced by Michael Dorn. Check it out for yourself below.
It’s a new look at the show for #InvincibleFriday!!! Sci-fi fans might notice it’s basically Worf fanfiction.
Also, be sure to watch all the way to the end. pic.twitter.com/u7HLmxNmIH

Battle Beast was a semi-regular fixture throughout Invincible’s 144 issue run. He was introduced early on in the series as a henchman of the cyborg crime boss known as Machine Head. But eventually, Battle Beast decided to leave this life behind him and strike out on his own. And if the new teaser serves as any indication, the character will be putting Mark Grayson’s alter-ego through the ringer just like he did in the comic. The clip also features a tongue-in-cheek reference to Dorn’s role as Worf on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Invincible’s first three episodes will hit Amazon Prime on March 26. The remaining episodes will subsequently air on a weekly basis until the finale drops on April 30.
