Mark Grayson Discovers His Powers In New Invincible Preview Scene

Nearly two decades ago, Robert Kirkman and artist Cory Walker introduced comic book readers to Mark Grayson in Invincible. Next month, Amazon Prime is premiering the Invincible comic as a one-hour animated series that will retain the over-the-top superhero violence of the source material. Now, via IGN Fan Fest, Amazon has debuted an extended preview from the first episode.

Within this clip, Mark and his mother, Deborah, learn that Mark’s father, Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man is saving the President’s life on TV. Omni-Man is basically the Superman of his world, and Mark’s had a hard time living up to that. Until now, Mark’s powers have yet to manifest themselves. By the end of the clip, they will. But first, Mark’s gonna have a very hard day at school.

The first three episodes of the Invincible animated series will premiere on Amazon Prime on Friday, March 26. New episodes will follow weekly after that.
