CBS All Access Extends Its Free Trial to 60 Days

As expected, self-quarantining in the time of the novel coronavirus has given binge-watchers more time to catch up on their favorite TV shows. Streaming services have already reported a major uptick in user activity. But now, CBS All Access is hoping to attract new customers with deal that could only be offered during a global pandemic. Via /Film, the platform is expanding its free trial period to 60 days.

This news comes exactly one week after Patrick Stewart announced on Instagram that non-CBS All Access subscribers could receive a 30-day free trial. Presumably, that was being offered primarily so viewers could blow through Star Trek: Picard’s recently concluded first season. But it sounds like they want streamers to check out some of their other original programs as well.

CBS All Access is currently replete with various Star Trek options. That includes newer series like Picard, Star Trek: Discovery, and Star Trek: Short Treks. Additionally, viewers can find classic shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: The Animated Series. Beyond this, there’s also The Good Fight, Strange Angel, and the critically acclaimed reboot of The Twilight Zone.

In order to take advantage of this deal, head over to the CBS All Access website. Use the promo code GIFT at checkout to get the first 30 days for free. After creating an account, click on the Subscriptions & Billing tab and plug in the promo code ENJOY for another free month.
