Lobo and Doomsday Arrive in Krypton Season 2 Trailer
Somewhere in the future, Superman‘s legacy is at stake. But that battle will play out in the past, as Krypton returns to Syfy for its second season. In the first season finale, Superman’s cape was restored, but his famous “S” was replaced by the symbol of Zod. Meanwhile, Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El, was trapped in the Phantom Zone with Brainiac. Seg’s future son, General Dru-Zod, has taken control. Now it’s time for Seg to fight back.
Syfy has released a new Krypton season 2 trailer that teases Zod’s rise to power. It also brings Seg face-to-face with the Main Man himself: Lobo! Emmett J. Scanlan is portraying Lobo, and it looks like he’s targeting Adam Strange. That implies that Lobo may be working for Dru-Zod. However, the Last Czarnian is wildly unpredictable. He’s even a match for the Man of Steel, which means Seg won’t fare well if it comes down to a fight with Lobo.
But there are bigger problems on the horizon, as Doomsday is on the loose. The walking apocalyptic weapon killed Superman in the comics, and there’s no one on Krypton who can match his strength or power.
There is still hope for the planet. Some of the citizens are fighting back against Zod’s control and a Civil War may break out for the soul of Krypton. The future itself is up for grabs, and it’s ultimately up to Seg to restore his grandson’s destiny.
Krypton season 2 will premiere on June 12.
