Dafne Keen recently spoke about the potential for her to return as X-23 in the MCU. In a recent interview, Keen opened up about whether she wants to reprise her Marvel role after officially joining the MCU via 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine.

While speaking to MovieWeb‘s Joe Deckelmeier at a Fan EXPO Boston panel, the 21-year-old star revealed that she would love to play X-23 in future Marvel projects if the opportunity to do so comes her way.
When asked if she had “unfinished business” with her character, Keen replied, “Absolutely. I mean, she’s such an interesting kind of tormented character, and she has so much more story to live. I mean, the comic books are incredible. There’s so much to pull from, and yeah, I mean, if they wanted to, there is so much material, and I’d always be willing.”
So far, Marvel Studios has not confirmed Dafne Keen’s involvement in the two upcoming Avengers movies, or the much-awaited X-Men reboot. However, recent rumors have suggested that Keen could return as X-23 in Avengers: Doomsday. In his latest update, renowned scooper Alex Perez noted, “[Keen will] be back for the Avengers films, and that’s all I know.”
Meanwhile, popular entertainment insider MyTimeToShineHello posted a similar update about Dafne Keen, stating that she was “in talks to return as X-23.” In a follow-up briefing, MTTSH clarified that her potential comeback might not be related to the upcoming Jake Schreier-helmed X-Men reboot.
As of now, Dafne Keen has portrayed X-23, aka Laura Kinney, on the big screen in two hugely successful films. She made her debut as the claw-wielding mutant in the Oscar-nominated film Logan, before reprising the role in the box office smash Deadpool & Wolverine seven years later.
