The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 release date set for September

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 will premiere on September 7, 2025, on AMC and AMC+ at 9 p.m. ET. This aligns with the release date pattern established by the previous two seasons. Like the first two installments, the third chapter will have six episodes.

Norman Reedus will return as the eponymous Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3, alongside Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier. Other cast members include Hada Nieto, Candela Saitta, Yassmine Othman, and Gonzalo Bouza, among many more. Some of the new series regulars to appear in the upcoming season are Óscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay, and Eduardo Noriega.

After the Season 3 announcement in July 2024, Reedus shared in a press release, “I couldn’t be more thrilled to announce a third season and to be working side by side with the brilliant Melissa McBride… I hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it and we can’t wait to keep the story going” (via Variety).

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 is the sixth entry in AMC’s The Walking Dead franchise. The mothership show was an adaptation of Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard’s namesake comic book series.

The setting of the third season is Spain, where the filming took place between August 2024 and February 2025. The story will reportedly focus on Daryl and Carol as they try to find their way back home.
