Numerous Marvel actors, including Mark Ruffalo, Marisa Tomei, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Glenn Close, were part of the No Kings protests.

The protests were held around the country, and Ruffalo was photographed next to Susan Sarandon in the crowd. The Avengers: Endgame star held the American flag and wore a hat with the word “Immigrant” written on it.

Ruffalo spoke to MSNBC and shared why he joined the other protestors. He said, “We see our democracy is in real trouble. We see a president who has made himself a king and dictator, and we don’t seen an opposition that’s powerful enough to stand up against the trampling of our rights and the trampling of the Constitution that’s happening every single day with executive orders, with the refusal to obey court orders, kidnapping of immigrants, people who are here legally, people who their children are being taken from them.”

The Mickey 17 actor further stated that “the only way to fight this now is for the people, is to come together.” Moreover, he labeled the people as “Avengers” and conveyed, “We’re going to have to be brave if we want to be free. Being brave for what we hold dear — our freedoms, our democracy, and each other — it’s on us, guys. Literally, together, we’re the Avengers now. No one’s gonna come and save us, man. Americans unite.” (Entertainment Weekly)

Apart from Mark Ruffalo, Spider-Man: No Way Home actress Marisa Tomei was part of the protests in LA. Dan Bucatinsky also posted a selfie with her on Instagram.

Additionally, Julia Louis-Dreyfus attended the protest with a sign. It read, “The Only Monarch I Like Is a Butterfly.” Meanwhile, Glenn Close also posted a video on Instagram, stating that she was demonstrating in Montana.
