New Jujutsu Kaisen movie’s ending could tease Season 3

The recently released promo of the Jujutsu Kaisen Hidden Inventory/Premature Death movie teased that the ending of the movie might tease the anime’s Season 3.

On X (formerly Twitter), the official account of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime shared a promo of the JJK movie. Along with it, the makers urged fans to witness the end of the movie by writing, “Please also pay attention to the ending!”

Season 3 of the popular Jujutsu Kaisen anime was announced by MAPPA, following the end of Season 2 in 2023. While the sophomore season ended with the Shibuya Incident Arc, the third installment will adapt the Culling Game Arc.

Despite nearly announcement, MAPPA has not shared any details regarding the development of the movie. Additionally, the studio has not provided a release date window for the anime yet.

Recently, the voice actor of the popular JJK character, Gojo, Yuichi Nakamura, had an interview ahead of the movie’s release. He stated that Season 3 would “exceed everyone’s expectations.”

According to Game Rant’s translation, Nakamura said, “This (Hidden Inventory movie) is a work packed with so much energy that it felt like a waste to end it with just the TV series. Even while watching the broadcast, I kept thinking, “I wish we could see this in theaters, even if it’s just for an event screening.” That’s not only for “Kaigyoku & Gyokusetsu” but also for the developments waiting ahead, which I believe will exceed everyone’s expectations.”
