Moon Knight Season 2 Not Happening, but Mark Spector Will Return

Marvel Studios TV Head Brad Winderbaum recently revealed plans regarding Moon Knight Season 2 and Oscar Isaac‘s return as the titular character. Brad Winderbaum confirms Moon Knight’s return plans, but not in Season 2

Head of Marvel Television and Streaming Brad Winderbaum recently spoke about Moon Knight and whether there will be a Season 2.

While discussing the release of the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again with ComicBook.com, Winderbaum revealed that Moon Knight will likely not have a Season 2. He asserted that Season 1 was part of “shows that were going to establish characters that would tie-in to the future.”

Winderbaum added, “And moving forward our priorities have shifted. We’re making shows as shows that can exist as annual releases, more like television. I would love to see a Moon Knight Season 2, but there are plans for Moon Knight down the road.”

Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight is one of the most loved characters in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although fans have been constantly demanding another season of the 2022 show, it is highly unlikely to happen.

As reported by SuperHeroHype earlier, in February 2024, the actor expressed his desire to return as Moon Knight for a Midnight Suns project. While speaking at the Comic-Con event in Abu Dhabi, Isaac conveyed that the Midnight Suns project “could be an interesting opportunity to see him (Moon Knight) as part of a team and what that dynamic would be. I definitely hope there’s some room to explore that possibility.” He also asserted that this project would be “exciting” for him.
