Ming-Na Wen Calls Fennec a Dream Role in New Boba Fett Featurette

She’s voiced Mulan, reminded M. Bison of a certain Tuesday, led a Final Fantasy, and until MCU canon says otherwise, been the most badass Agent of SHIELD in live-action. But for Ming-Na Wen, the dream role is on Wednesday. Calling herself as a massive Star Wars fan, the actress describes the assassin Fennec Shand as a dream role in the latest Book of Boba Fett featurette.

Anyone expecting new glimpses of the episode that drops at midnight tonight might be disappointed. This video concerns itself more with recap than teases. But it does serve as a reminder where Fennec came from, and how, much like Boba Fett, she initially died. Though unlike with her new business partner, it didn’t take decades to find out that storyline death can become very temporary. Especially in the Star Wars galaxy. One doesn’t have to become a Force ghost to become more powerful after being struck down.

Temuera Morrison and Robert Rodriguez also weigh in on the actress’ self-evident awesomeness. She certainly seems unlikely to die again. As for what further adventures await, we may find out a lot more when episode 2 drops at the stroke of midnight.
