It’s been a while since fans last heard any news from the Shadow and Bone series. The upcoming adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s young-adult fantasy-adventure books wrapped filming in February and has been in post-production since. Fans of the author’s “Grisha” universe, named for its characters with the ability to manipulate the elements, will have to wait till Spring, as Netflix revealed that it would debut in April of next year. The books follow the adventures of teenaged orphan Alina Starkov, as she discovers a magic that could help heal her home country. The Grishaverse also includes the Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom duology, as well as King of Scars, offering plenty of content from which Netflix can draw.
