Longtime Arrow star Emily Bett Rickards filmed her final scenes for The CW series as a regular cast member. The actress, who plays Felicity Smoak/Overwatch, announced last month on Instagram that her character would not be returning to the show’s eighth and final season. To commemorate the occasion, star Stephen Amell posted a video of his daughter singing Rickards a song after her final scene wrapped, giving a clue as to where we’ll last see her character.

Series showrunner Beth Schwartz told TVLine that the character’s absence will be definitely be addressed. “All I have to say is the finale script, almost everyone who read it was in tears,” the Schwartz said of Rickards’ final episode. “I’m very happy with it, and I think the audience is going to really like it.“
