The X-Men: Apocalypse trailer will be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens
The wait for some movie trailers can seem like a long process, especially when the release is so close but there still hasn’t been a frame of footage. Speaking with Collider, “X-Men” producer Simon Kinberg revealed that Deadpool and X-Men: Apocalypse trailers are coming before the end of the year!
“Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Kinberg says of “Apocalypse.” “It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.”
Kinberg went on to confirm a second Deadpool trailer will debut in December as well, though if it will also be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens remains to be seen.
“I’ve seen a version of the trailer that’s pretty awesome, that’s close to being ready. I think the plan is also in December to put out the new trailer.”
Ryan Reynolds stars as the title character alongside T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax. Confirmed to be rated R, Deadpool is scheduled for a release on February 12, 2016.
