A New Clip Pits the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Against Patton Oswalt’s Lie Detector

Created by Stan Lee and Dick Ayers, Koening made his comic book debut in 1966 in "Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos" #27. The character was a originally a member of Nick Fury's battalion during World War II. Fans were introduced to the series version of Koenig in this week's episode, "Providence," where it was revealed that he is a Level Six agent currently running the episode's eponymous safehouse.

"Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.

"The Only Light in the Darkness," which is also set to star Amy Acker, is the penultimate episode of season one. It airs Tuesday, April 22 at 8pm on ABC.
