Rumors about the first trailer for James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy debuting tomorrow, February 18, have now been confirmed by USA Today. The video will debut on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” tomorrow night, along with a special introduction by Star-Lord himself, Chris Pratt. Following the airing, the trailer will come online and then will play in theaters this Friday. What’s more, the outlet has debuted three new images from the Marvel Studios space adventure and you can check them all out in the gallery viewer at the bottom of this page.
Guardians of the Galaxy features an unlikely cast of characters who must team up in order to defeat a cosmic force of epic proportions. Directed by James Gunn, the August 1 release stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Gregg Henry, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel.
