X-Men: Days of Future Past Going Back for Additional Shooting

As with most huge Hollywood films, X-Men: Days of Future Past will be going back to Montreal for some additional shooting. The Calgary Herald (via CBM) confirmed the news with Quebec film commissioner Hans Fraikin.

The purpose for the filming is to add some additional scenes to the movie, which is reportedly 20th Century Fox’s second-biggest film ever, behind James Cameron’s Avatar. It wasn’t mentioned which actors will return for the shoot, but Daniel Cudmore, who plays Colossus, tweeted about being back in Canada. Check back for any more information we learn about the reshoots, which are said to last a couple of weeks.

Hitting theaters on May 23, 2014, the anticipated film stars Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Halley Berry, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters, Josh Helman and Lucas Till.
