At the Marvel Studios panel in Hall H, writer/director Joss Whedon took to the stage to announce that the official title for the sequel to The Avengers will be Avengers: Age of Ultron! Whedon also revealed a brief logo teaser for the film and here’s the description from our own Silas Lesnick:
The Avengers footage is super quick, featuring lines from the first Avengers.
Slowly, CGI images form Ultron’s face.
Then the title comes up. Avengers: Age of Ultron!

Featuring favorites from the first “Avengers” film and new Marvel characters never before seen on the big screen, Avengers: Age of Ultron is slated to begin production in March 2014 and open in theaters on May 1, 2015. The official logos for “Age of Ultron” along with Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier have also been revealed. Check them out below!
