Comment From Jona
What time does the panel starts?
Spencer Perry-SHH: Should be in just a few minutes!
Comment From Edgar
When will the walker dead season 4 trailer come out
Spencer Perry-SHH: Some time today I believe
Comment From Jonathan
Am I the only one hoping that Tyrese cleans out the gym at the prison this season?
Spencer Perry-SHH: Personally I was hoping they’d get around to showing the kids “Ghostbusters” like in the comics!
Comment From Raina
Is there a livestream of the panel anywhere?
Spencer Perry-SHH: No cameras allowed in Hall H, but we’ll be blogging everything!
Comment From Nick
will they give a release date for the new season instead of just Oct?
Spencer Perry-SHH: I’m willing to bet they will
EDouglasCS: Probably the Sunday of NY Comic COn as usual
Comment From Tom
Do we know yet how many episodes this season will be? 16 again?
Spencer Perry-SHH: Yep, 16 again
EDouglasCS: We’ll know who’ll be on the panel when they get there. I expect a lot of favorites and a few new people.
Silas Lesnick: Here we go!
Spencer Perry-SHH: Silas Lesnick everybody!
Silas Lesnick: Scott Gimple, Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero!
Silas Lesnick: “It’s going to get insane this season,” says Kirkman.
Silas Lesnick: “24 hours ago we shot one of the coolest walker gags ever,” says Nicotero.
Silas Lesnick: Hurd is talking about how cooperative the team has gotten. She feels like they’re going into the Superbowl.
Silas Lesnick: She’s talking about the cast going to surprise Sarah Wayne at a Kennedy Center performance and how no one ever leaves the show’s family.
EDouglasCS: Unless they get killed or leave the show like Frank Darabont and the last showrunner…
Silas Lesnick: Alpert says the biggest thing to avoid is anyone getting comfortable. Things need to constantly be changing and the entire cast could be gone at any moment.
Silas Lesnick: The “negative reinforcement” the Governor received in episode 3×16 will have a major impact on the character.
Silas Lesnick: How he returns and when he returns will be a big mystery this season.
Silas Lesnick: They’re about to show off a new trailer for the fourth season!
Comment From Mark
When will this be on Youtube (The trailer) ?
Spencer Perry-SHH: Hopefully when the panel wraps up
Silas Lesnick: Lots of new footage!
Silas Lesnick: We see an armed Walker sweep of an abandoned supermarket and then, suddenly, screams coming from within.
Silas Lesnick: Tensions are mounting at the prison and the pattern of the Walkers have changed. They don’t gather in one place like they used to anymore.
Silas Lesnick: Shots of Walkers inside the prison! It turns out that someone let them in.
Silas Lesnick: It looks like it’s going to be a mystery as to who let them in. Dead rats are discovered by the fence. Someone has been feeding the Walkers.
Silas Lesnick: Sorry, lost the connection there.
Silas Lesnick: It sounds like the trailer is going online now. We’ll have a link in just a second!
Silas Lesnick: The cast is now on stage!
Silas Lesnick: Lots of applause, except for David Morrissey who got lots of boos.
Silas Lesnick: Scott Wilson says his major motivation as a character is just holding on to his other leg.
Comment From Jona
Why is David being booed?
Silas Lesnick: Just as a sort of joke. Because The Governor is so despicable.
Silas Lesnick: Chad Coleman is discussing being a recent addition to TWD family.
Silas Lesnick: “These are the challenges that you want as an actor,” he says, “Actors that inspire you and writers that inspire you.”
Silas Lesnick: Coleman says he’s Tyreese is a guy who needs strong reasoning for his actions and he’s now living a world that just won’t allow for that kind of thinking.
Silas Lesnick: Morrissey says the Governor feels betrayed after the end of season three.
Silas Lesnick: “Something switched,” says Morrissey. “… We see him dealing with what that switch is,”
Spencer Perry-SHH: Pardon the interruption folks, but here’s the trailer! //www.superherohype.com/news/articles/178265-comic-con-first-trailer-for-the-walking-dead-season-4
Silas Lesnick: Norman Reedus is talking about all the changes Daryl has gone through.
Silas Lesnick: “He’s found a sense of self-worth that would never have happened if not for this apocalypse.”
Silas Lesnick: “No one is the same as they were in the first season,” says Reedus, “That’s really a delight for me.”
Silas Lesnick: Danai Gurira is talking about the importance of the characters finding hope in a hopeless world.
Silas Lesnick: “Expect the unexpected,” she say. “You’ll never get comfortable and you shouldn’t even try.”
Silas Lesnick: Fan questions are on the way!
ComingSoon.net: Here’s the new Comic-Con trailer! http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=106704
Silas Lesnick: Someone is asking if Rick and Michonne could become a couple.
Silas Lesnick: “We’re playing footsie,” Lincoln jokes.
Silas Lesnick: There’s a question about how the aftermath of season three will play out immediately and how the recent deaths affect everyone.
ComingSoon.net: We’ll add the trailer to our player in a bit for those that can’t see it internationally.
Silas Lesnick: Reedus says that he’s rooting for Daryl and Michonne. “And maybe Rick can join in!” he adds to much applause.
Silas Lesnick: Lincoln is talking about how grief over lost characters is a very real thing, because it means not working those actors again.
Silas Lesnick: He says he’s not a method actor, but a lot of show makes method acting something that just happens anyway.
Comment From Bec
IN A BIT?!
ComingSoon.net: Uploading now, will post the link when it’s done.
Silas Lesnick: Gurira says she felt a special loss in the Lori character because it was her entrance to the series.
EDouglasCS: Here’s the new Comic-Con trailer! http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=106704
EDouglasCS: check back at that link and we’ll update it with one you can watch internationally
Silas Lesnick: Every dead character has an actor headshot on a wall in the production offices as a memorial. It’s known as “The Grateful Dead”.
Silas Lesnick: Steven Yeun says he loves that Glenn has gotten to do everything on the show, from comedy to action to romance.
Comment From Mike
Was Danai’s comments regarding Laurie Holden’s Andrea or the character Lori Grimes (Sarah Callies)?
Silas Lesnick: My apologies, I meant Andrea 🙂
Silas Lesnick: Gonna have to swap batteries, guys. Be right back!
Comment From Jon
Thanks for keeping us updated. It’s very cool of you to do this.
ComingSoon.net: No problem. Trailer is almost done uploading.
Silas Lesnick: And I’m back! There was a really cute moment where a bunch of cosplayers asked a question dressed as the entire cast (and a couple of Walkers)
ComingSoon.net: Okay, try watching the trailer here now – http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=106704
Silas Lesnick: Kirkman spoke again about how, if the zombie apocalypse actually happened, he’d probably just kill himself.
Silas Lesnick: He says he gets that question so much that whenever he answers he wonders if everyone thinks he’s a very depressed person.
Silas Lesnick: Someone wants David Morrissey to sing next season, but he says that’s not very likely.
Silas Lesnick: Now the crowd is cheering and trying to make him sing on stage. He just laughed it off, though.
Silas Lesnick: That’s it for Walking Dead! We’ll be back in about half an hour for Game of Thrones!
