Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the action adventure is scheduled to hit theaters on June 6, 2014. Michael Bay is producing the film.
In “Catching Fire,” Ritchson plays Gloss, a former Career tribute from District 1. Gloss and his sister Cashmere are both competing in the Quarter Quell. Ritchson also played Aquaman on The CW’s “Smallville.”
