Yesterday, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb posted a photo of a stunt they were filming for the sequel. We’ve since gotten a hold of some better angles of the carnage as well as a few images of Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson.
In the other photos, Woodley can be seen wearing a shirt that clearly says “Eisenberg’s” meaning she’s a waitress at the sandwhich shop seen below. But did you notice what is next to Mary Jane’s employer? How strange that a Russian Bookstore would be right there. We do know of one Russian character in the film, Paul Giamatti’s Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich, AKA The Rhino. Could the Rhino be resposible for the car sandwich we see? Time will tell, but it certainly seems that way.
In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past. The sequel hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
