Killer Croc, Riddler and Penguin Added to Injustice: Gods Among Us?

We’re two months away from the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us and the roster for the game continues to grow. Neatherrealm Creative Director Ed Boon tweeted the below image earlier this afternoon and seemingly confirmed some additions to the roster as The Flash is seen fighting Killer Croc, with the Riddler and the Penguin watching in the background.

Given that the creative director for the game released this image, there is a good chance it is legitimate, but we still have our doubts. Upon closer inspection, you’ll notice that the designs for these characters and the arena they are in are from the Rocksteady game Batman: Arkham City. One of two things is happening here. This is either a fake image that was cleverly made by a fan or Injustice will feature character skins and arenas from the very popular “Arkham” franchise. We’ll let you know if there is confirmation on the image’s legitimacy.

“Gods Among Us” debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Deathstroke, Solomon Grundy, Superman, Lex Luthor, The Flash, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Bane, Catwoman, the Joker, and more. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale.

The game will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on April 16 in North America and April 19 in Europe.
