DCU’s Jason Momoa and Adria Arjona have been cast in a new thriller starring Miles Teller. In a recent report, Momoa and Arjona have been cast alongside two other stars in Black Label Media’s upcoming action thriller.
According to Deadline, the Aquaman and Splitsville stars have been cast in Copperhead, helmed by John Swab. Chad Feehan and J. Todd Scott are writing the script. Along with the DC stars, Tenoch Huerta and Kiefer Sutherland have also been cast in the movie. Huerta is best known for starring in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Forever Purge, and Days of Grace. Sutherland is best known for Designated Survivor, 24, The Lost Boys, and Stand By Me.
The official description of the movie reads, “When an undercover drug deal explodes into violence, a veteran detective is forced to team with a young federal agent to unravel the conspiracy within their elite task force.” The production will begin in September 2026.

Jason Momoa and Adria Arjona have not worked together in a DC movie. However, Momoa has been part of the DC Universe for a while. The Fast X star first joined DC as Aquaman in the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Since then, he has appeared as Aquaman in the character-led movie series.
However, since the DCEU is no longer part of the James Gunn-Peter Safran slate, the actor joined the DCU again as a new character. Momoa recently played the intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo in Supergirl.

In this movie, Arjona played Amanda Cooper, the wife of Ray Cooper, who was played by Momoa. This on-screen romance was taken off-screen by the pair, as they confirmed their relationship in May 2024.
