One of Tom Holland’s popular Spider-Man movies has finally been added to Disney+’s expanding movie library. This comes ahead of the long-awaited theatrical debut of the franchise’s latest sequel, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, on July 31, 2026.

As of today, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ 2021 movie Spider-Man: No Way Home will finally be available to stream on Disney+. This marked the first time that Holland’s Spider-Man starred alongside Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s respective versions of the iconic hero. During its theatrical run, the film grossed over $1.9 billion at the box office worldwide, making it the highest-grossing Spider-Man movie to date. It currently holds an approval rating of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.
“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk,” reads the official synopsis. “When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.”
The movie was directed by Jon Watts, with Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers writing the screenplay. The star-studded ensemble cast also included Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress, along with J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans. Following its massive success, Holland is set to reprise his fan-favorite role in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day film, which will also feature Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, and Sadie Sink.
