A new Avengers: Doomsday rumor potentially reveals the pre-reshoots cast.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is currently in post-production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will be released in United States theaters later this year. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, follows in 2027.
Who is in the rumored Avengers: Doomsday full cast?
Scooper MyTimeToShineHello posted an updated list of all the actors and characters who will be appearing in Avengers: Doomsday. This cast list is being reported on before reshoots, meaning it’s possible there could be some other additions that come at a later date.
It’s also important to stress that this is just a rumor at this time. While Marvel has publicly announced a number of Doomsday cast members, there’s also a large handful who are on this list that have not been officially confirmed.
The confirmed Avengers: Doomsday cast, which was reiterated by MyTimeToShineHello, includes Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Lewis Pullman as Bob/Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
The scooper then also adds Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Hailee Steiner as Kate Bishop/Hawkeye, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter/Doom’s Witch, Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine, Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Benedict Cumberbatch as “Doom’s wizard sidekick,” Owen Wilson as Mobius, India Hemsworth as Love, Alex Livinalli as Attuma, and Mabel Cadena as Namora.
Additionally, there’s Franklin Richards, though MyTimeToShineHello says they have “no idea who’s playing him.” They also note that Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau are currently not part of the cast, but it’s possible they could be added in during reshoots.
Avengers: Doomsday arrives on December 18, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU. Avengers: Secret Wars is then dated for December 17, 2027.
