Avengers: Doomsday Will Make [Spoiler] MCU Movie’s Main Focus Alongside RDJ — Rumor

According to a new rumor, a fan-favorite MCU character will be the “main focus” of Avengers: Doomsday alongside Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is currently in post-production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will arrive in United States theaters in a little over a year. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, then follows in December 2027.

According to scooper MyTimeToShineHello, the main focus of Avengers: Doomsday, besides Doctor Doo,m will be Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers.

“RDJ and Evans weren’t even going to be part of The Kang Dynasty, and now they’re not only back but will be the main focus of Doomsday,” the post, which is responding to a Twitter comment from saying saying they heard “Doomsday is mostly Doom Vs. Steve,” says. “Marvel really needs to let go of the past and move on.”

This is just a rumor at this time, and should be treated as such. There have been conflicting reports regarding whether Evans will appear in Avengers: Doomsday — as Captain America, Nomad, or some other character — though Marvel has not confirmed his casting at this time. If he truly is in the movie, it’s unclear how big a role he may have or if Avengers: Doomsday will really be “Doom Vs. Steve.”
