Spider-Man 4 Set Video Confirms Huge MCU Appearance

As production continues in the UK, a brand new Spider-Man 4 set video has surfaced online, confirming that one of the original members of the Avengers will indeed appear in Brand New Day.

This won’t be the first time that a major Avenger will get to join Tom Holland in his Spider-Man movie. Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark/Iron Man first appeared in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, while Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange also starred in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.

What happens in the Spider-Man 4 set video?

Despite initially trying to deny his involvement in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Academy Award nominee Mark Ruffalo was finally spotted (via UnBoxPHD on X) on the set of Holland’s next Spider-Man movie. In the new set video and photo, the acclaimed actor can be seen seemingly sitting or lying down on a gurney. This serves as the 15-year mark since he first played Bruce Banner/Hulk in The Avengers movie. He was last seen at the end of the 2022 Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where it was revealed that he has a son named Skaar.

Recent rumors about Hulk’s potential role in Spider-Man 4 suggested that the hero might transform into the Savage Hulk, best known as the character’s aggressive and deadly alter-ego. According to the latest report, his Savage Hulk transformation will be triggered by emotional distress caused by the appearances of She-Hulk and Red Hulk.
