Dolph Lundgren recently opened up about a secret role that he’ll have in the upcoming live-action Masters of the Universe movie, teasing what fans can expect.
Speaking to Men’s Journal in a recent interview, Lundgren — who starred in the 1987 live-action film based on the property — was asked about rumors that he’ll appear in the new film. Lundgren played coy, saying it was a secret for now, but that he “maybe” will be involved.
“It’s a bit of a secret, but I can’t say much,” Lundgren said. “But yeah, maybe I’ll get involved somehow. We’ll see.”
Lundgren played the role of He-Man in the original 1987 film that was based on the Mattel franchise. The new film will be led by Nicholas Galitzine, so it’s unclear how Lundgren will be utilized in the new film should he appear.
