The person that the third Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer will reportedly focus on may surprise some people.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is currently in post-production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will be released in the United States in less than a year. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, will then follow in 2027.
After debuting ahead of James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has officially been released online, meaning it’s now common knowledge that Steve Rogers will be reprising his MCU role in the film. According to reports, there are still three more teaser trailers coming, with a new one being released each week. Leaks have revealed that the second one will focus on Chris Hemsworth’s Thor.

Scooper Cryptic HD Quality teased on Twitter that they’d heard the third Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer is a “big one” before then sharing a picture of James Marsden’s Scott Summers/Cyclops. Whether any other X-Men character or if it will be strictly centered around Scott remains unclear at this time.
It’s also important to note that this is just a rumor and it should be treated as such at this time, as Marvel hasn’t commented on anything related to the upcoming teaser trailers.

Avengers: Secret Wars, meanwhile, has been dated for December 17, 2027.
