Rumor: Elliot Page Being Eyed for Big MCU Role

A new rumor from a noted insider suggests that Marvel Studios is eyeing The Umbrella Academy’s Elliot Page for a role in the MCU.

What do we know about Elliot Page’s MCU rumor?

According to a new report from noted insider and “scooper” MyTimeToShine, Page is being eyed for a “big Marvel role.” No word on exactly what role or project Page would be was mentioned, but fans were quick to theorize that it could be a return to the world of X-Men.

Page previously played the character Kitty Pryde in 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand, and would later reprise the role in 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. It’s unclear whether or not Page would be open to returning to the world of superhero movies, though, so fans will have to wait for more official information.

Up next for Page is a role in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated The Odyssey. Page recently wrapped up a starring role in Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, and also had a starring role on the Paramount+ series Ark: The Animated Series.

Up next for Marvel Studios is The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is set to premiere in theaters on July 25, 2025.
