Captain America 4, also known as Captain America: Brave New World, has been given a Disney+ streaming release date.
Marvel Studios’ Captain America 4 was released in United States theaters in February 2025. Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson/Captain America in the film, while Harrison Ford makes his MCU debut as Thaddeus Ross/Red Hulk.

Marvel has released a new video announcing that Captain America 4 will be available to stream on Disney+ on May 28, 2025. Watch the video below:
The movie was made available for rent or purchase on digital platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home on April 15, 2025. Additionally, it was just released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD as of today, May 13, 2025.
“In Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) – who now wields the shield of Captain America after events in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier – meets with newly elected U.S. president Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) and soon finds himself in the middle of an international incident,” the official synopsis reads. “In a race against time, Sam must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”
Directed by Julius Onah, the cast of Captain America 4 also includes Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Xosha Roquemore as Leila Taylor, Giancarlo Esposito as Seth Voelker/Sidewinder, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, and Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns.
Captain America: Brave New World is currently the third highest-grossing 2025 movie at the domestic box office ($200.5 million), following Sinners ($215.4 million) and A Minecraft Movie ($408.7 million). Globally, it currently sits in fourth place behind Ne Zha 2, A Minecraft Movie, and Detective Chinatown 1900.
