Doctor Strange Character Posters Focus on Familiar Faces

In just under a month, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits theaters. Seems like we just saw the good Doctor in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it’s been a while since some of his supporting cast showed up. With a series of six new Doctor Strange character posters, Marvel Studios reminds us that whatever cameos or new faces may or may not appear, this is still very much a Doctor Strange sequel.

As such, it’s time for the return of Christine Palmer, Strange’s former flame from his pre-sorcery life. Meanwhile, Mordo has presumably been following up on  his promise to rid the world of magic. Good luck with that…bad luck to anyone who tries to stop him, though. Wong, as always has Strange’s back, and per the Spider-Man plot point, is now the Sorcerer Supreme. The one new character in this poster set, America Chavez, proves key to the multiverse, as one who has traversed it her entire life.

Then there’s Wanda Maximoff. Looking at the swirls of red effects surrounding each head, it’s hard to escape the notion that whatever’s going on is part of some Scarlet Witchery.
