The Matrix Resurrections Trailer Reunites Neo and Trinity

It’s time to go back to the Matrix. However, it appears that Neo never left after his final battle with Smith in The Matrix Revolutions. When that was the end of the franchise, we didn’t wonder whether Neo was still alive. It was pretty clear that he was dead. Regardless, the title of The Matrix Resurrections certainly suggests that Neo has found life after death.

After teasing the footage a few days ago, Warner Bros. has dropped the first real trailer for the film. In it, Neo is once again Thomas Anderson, the seemingly ordinary man he once believed himself to be. Thomas is also under the care of his therapist, as played by Neil Patrick Harris. However, Thomas’ life is changed again when he reunites with Trinity. Unfortunately, neither Neo/Thomas nor Trinity know who they really are. But they had better figure it out fast.
