Bill and Ted Face The Music Recasts Its Princesses

Next summer, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves will reprise their respective characters, Bill and Ted, after nearly three decades. But when Bill and Ted Face the Music arrives in theaters, the guys are gonna have brand new wives.

Deadline is reporting that Jayma Mays (pictured top left) is playing Princess Joanna, the wife of Bill S. Preston, Esq. Erinn Hayes (pictured top right) will portray Ted Logan’s wife, Princess Elizabeth. Both Princesses first appeared in the original Bill and Ted, when Diane Franklin played Joanna and Kimberley LaBelle portrayed Elizabeth. In Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey, Sarah Trigger replaced Franklin as Joanna, while Annette Azcuy took over as Elizabeth.
