Does Toy Story 5 Have 1 or More Post-Credits Scenes?

Toy Story 5 is almost in theaters, and many fans are already wondering whether the film includes any post-credits scenes. Ahead of the film’s global premiere on June 19, 2026, here’s what viewers can expect after the movie ends.

Is there a Toy Story 5 post-credits scene at the end?

Yes, Toy Story 5 includes post-credits scenes. In fact, the film features both a mid-credits scene and a post-credits scene.

After Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” finishes playing, the film transitions into a mid-credits scene. Once the credits conclude, an additional post-credits scene follows. The scenes hint at the possibility of the franchise continuing in the future.

Andrew Stanton has also addressed the possibility of a sixth film in an interview with ScreenRant. “You can never say never,” he said while discussing the future of the Toy Story franchise.

“So hopefully, I think that’s the pattern, if it keeps going. So I always knew that there was a natural possibility to just follow Bonnie, and just follow her life, and just see what happens to the toys if it keeps going,” he said, explaining that the toys could continue to be passed on, as they have been in the past.

He added, “So there was always that seed. It’s like a series that doesn’t know it’s going to get picked up for the next season.”

“We’d always end it like it could end here, but we’ve passed the badge on from Woody to Jessie at the end of 4, just in case it keeps going. So it’s always been that kind of mindset,” Stanton concluded.

Toy Story 5 premieres on June 19, 2026.
