What happened in Blue Lock Chapter 349?
The previous chapter, titled “Re-Live,” commences the third round of the Bird vs. Cage training session with Mizuki and Nagi as birds. Nagi wonders to himself whether he’s feeling excited because he’s betting his entire soccer career on surviving the training program. He then realizes that there’s more to it.
As the “cage” players pass the ball to each other, Mizuki tells Nagi that he chose him for his big stature and talent. The two then strategize a plan. Other players keep the ball moving with quick passes. As Nagi prepares to intercept the pass, a few players try to block him.
However, Nagi headbutts the ball and tells Mizuki to run towards it. Seeing Mizuki approaching it, four “cage” players try to block him. Mizuki then manages to kick the ball back towards Nagi and asks him to get it. Nagi lunges towards it and gets hold of it. Mizuki and Nagi clear the round.
