What happened in One Piece Chapter 1180?
The previous chapter opens with a look at Imu’s physical form. Situation escalates quickly when Imu makes a sudden attack on Zoro’s group to rescue Saint Sommers. When Gerd tries to defend, Imu ends up cutting a few of Gerd’s fingers. Zoro tries to take on Imu with his King of Hell: Oni Giri attack, but the World Government leader deflects it very easily with his tail. He then creates a black flame in his hand and launches it at Zoro, leaving him gravely injured.
Imu then revives Saint Sommers using his Omen technique. He then spreads his black wings, launches himself, and heads towards Sanji’s group. Once he reaches the location, Imu revives Saint Killingham using the same Omen technique.
After seeing Saint Killingham revived, Sanji attacks Imu with kicks. To his horror, none of it is useful. Imu then generates black flames around his leg and kicks Sanji, creating a gigantic explosion. Imu then heads to Loki’s location, where the two prepare to fight.
