Has Alice in Borderland Season 4 Been Canceled or Renewed?

With Season 3 of Alice in Borderland having been released recently, fans are wondering whether a Season 4 will happen. The popular Japanese dystopian sci-fi series has captivated audiences across the globe. Is there more of the show beyond Season 3?

Here are the details on Alice in Borderland Season 4.

Has Netflix canceled Alice in Borderland or renewed it for Season 4?

Netflix has neither renewed nor canceled Alice in Borderland for Season 4. The Netflix series is based on the manga series of the same name by Haro Aso.

The first two seasons covered all the chapters of the manga, and Season 3 continues with original plotlines. It was released on September 25, 2025, and whether it is the final season of the series remains to be seen. This season continues the story from where Season 2 left off.

The Season 2 finale starts with Arisu and Usagi approaching the Queen of Hearts on top of a Tokyo skyscraper. They are there for the final game, a croquet match. The Queen tries to psychologically manipulate Arisu during a tea break, presenting false realities to make him quit. She first tells him that they are in a VR simulation from the future, and later claims that they are being controlled by aliens. Eventually, she says that the whole world is Arisu’s creation in his mind as a coping mechanism after his friends died.

As he was about to accept the illusion as true, Usagi interrupts him. She cuts her hand to prove that they are in the real world. Returning to reality, Arisu finishes the game, which concludes all the games.

The show gives the survivors a choice to stay in Borderland or return to the real world. However, the finale ends with Arisu and Usagi finding the Joker card. Now, the Season 3 finale has left a possibility for Season 4, or a potential spin-off to happen. Director Shinsuke Sato also

told Radio Times that he’d be interested to do more. But the future will depend upon viewership numbers of the latest season.
