Is There a New South Park Season 27 Episode Tonight on Sept 3?

Viewers are curious to know whether a new episode of South Park Season 27 will premiere today on Comedy Central. This concern has emerged as the show has stuck to its inconsistent release schedule since its premiere. It maintains a two-week gap between episodes. So, will South Park Season 27 Episode 4 come out today? Here are the details.

Will South Park air a new episode tonight?

Yes, South Park Season 27 Episode 4 will premiere today on Comedy Central and tomorrow on Paramount+.

South Park Season 27 continued to follow its 2-weeks gap in between episodes. As a result, Episode 4 didn’t come out last week. The reason behind its postponement wasn’t directly addressed. But a latest Deadline report revealed that the production is taking additional time to complete, so the episodes are getting delayed.

A source said the outlet, “What they’re doing means this year’s episodes need more time than usual to put together, to finish. So much happens right now in just one day with [Donald] Trump. No one’s going to sacrifice getting it right, even if we have to push getting it to air, and if that makes the season longer, so be it.”

In the same report, it was revealed that there are chances that plans might change, but until then, the show is likely to follow the recent schedule, which has a two-week gap between episodes. If the same schedule continues, the show might conclude around December 10. Since the show’s premiere, its episodes have skipped two weeks due to various reasons. The first delay happened as the Trump and the White House controversy surrounded the show, which postponed Episode 2. The next episode was delayed as the show celebrated its 28th anniversary, skipping yet another two weeks.

South Park Season 27 Episode 4, titled “Wok is Dead,” will feature Butter wishing to buy a labubu doll for his girlfriend’s birthday but soon faces the reality of tariffs.
